Anthony Paul is a storyteller, genre fiction writer, and a Game Master of six years. Through countless online and in-person games, he has striven to build communities through a commitment to imagination and teamwork.
Genre Fiction (Science Fiction/Fantasy) is a craft he believes is capable of allowing people to explore the real world through fantastical parallels and informed character decisions. Every player can bring their unique perspective of the world into the game, leading into incredible character decisions and new narrative possibilities.
Expect games with Anthony to include mixes of roleplay, combat, exploration, and intrigue; he is willing to bend the rules of a system if it means having impactful, interesting (and hilarious!) game moments.

Gameplay
Scars of the Solstice features module content created to introduce players to the system and world of Lancer. Expect tactical combat missions with narrative/roleplay downtime in between.
Summary
You are Lancers, pilots of mechanized cavalry deployed by the galactic federation (UNION, Third Committee). Recently graduated from academy, you are about to embark on your first mission; but it could be your last.
For 500 years, the planet Cressidium has been isolated from the wider galaxy. Turned from a fledgling colony into a refuge for those fleeing from the fall of the Second Committee, the people of Cressidium have struggled and fought to build a home for themselves while casting off the shadow of SecComm’s tyranny.
Five centuries later, an encounter with a Union exploratory mission has ignited an interest in rejoining the galactic community, but not everyone on Cressidium sees the Third Committee as potential allies, but rather usurpers of humanity’s rightful legacy among the stars. Now, the arrival of a Union diplomatic delegation may be the spark that causes simmering tensions between nations to erupt into all-out war.
This campaign will feature material from the Lancer modules Operation Solstice Rain and Operations Winter Scar, written and designed by Kai Tave.
Character Creation
Lancer character creation can be performed through the game's official website, featuring presets for tactical playstyles and a combat mode for in-game play. Pen-and-paper sheets and other materials will be provided.
Safety Tools
Players will be provided with a spreadsheet to anonymously detail any Lines and Veils. X cards will be present during play.
